Corporate plan

The plan spans the period from 2025 to 2029 and outlines our shared vision for the borough. A vision that reflects the aspirations that we have for the residents and businesses within the borough. Our plan is rooted in a commitment to serve the residents, visitors and business that make up our communities. We will work tirelessly to attract investment into the borough, to improve the health outcomes for our residents, enhance our green spaces and deliver our services efficiently. This is a plan that serves the whole borough, recognising the sense of community and diversity across our geography, and how together, we are united to achieve.

Specifically, we will focus on:

• Place and Prosperity - enabling local jobs, supporting businesses and regenerating our town centres
• Housing, Health and Communities - promoting healthy lifestyles, supporting vulnerable residents, building new Council homes and strengthening community cohesion
• Green Spaces and Environment - protecting our natural environment, improving air quality and creating sustainable communities
• Your Council - delivering services effectively and efficiently while ensuring value for money for our taxpayers
