Apply for a gaming machine permit
The Council is responsible for issuing permits for amusements with prizes machines (one-armed bandits) in premises in the borough. This includes public houses and clubs.
In relation to public houses, there is an automatic entitlement to two machines but a notification must be submitted with the appropriate fee to the licensing authority.
Application must be made to have more than two machines in a licensed premises. Further details are available about the Gambling Act 2005.
