A successful Poetry Spa Day returns to Nuneaton Museum & Art Gallery on Saturday, 21 September.
Nine Arches Press will be at the Riversley Park venue for the immersive day, following on from March’s event, with featured writer Tania Hershman alongside regular host Roz Goddard.
A spokesman for Nine Arches Press said:
“Attendees will receive a copy of Still Life With Octopus by Tania Hershman in the mail as part of the ticket price and can prepare for friendly discussion plus absorption in creative reading and writing.
“Start the day gently with a spell of reading as you join a small group of other bookish people to experience the benefits of mindful reading.
“Tania will then lead an afternoon writing workshop entitled Mashups and Collisions' suitable for all, from beginners to experienced writers.’’
Cllr Tim Jenkins, Portfolio Holder for Leisure, Communities, and Health, said:
“We are thoroughly looking forward to the return of the Poetry Spa Day to our Museum and Art Gallery.
“This is a great opportunity for people to become involved in creative reading and writing, and we will hopefully see a good take-up for the event.’’
Tickets are £38 for the day (10am to 4pm), including the book posted in advance and refreshments on the day.
