This Saturday, 21 December, is the last opportunity to visit Nuneaton Museum & Art Gallery this year.
As well as the museum’s permanent exhibitions there are three temporary ones for visitors to enjoy.
In the Yellow Gallery, local artist Melvyn Gunn’s exhibition covers his 70 years as an artist.
Meanwhile Grit’s Portrait of a Town is on the landing, featuring portraits of local people completed over the last year.
Can you spot someone you know? There is also a chance to create your own portrait.
Alisha Miller’s 'Convoy' brings her locally inspired artwork designed for lorries to a gallery setting.
In addition, our naughty nutcracker ornaments have escaped off our Christmas tree, can you find them hidden all over the museum?
Cllr Tim Jenkins, Portfolio Holder for Leisure, Communities and Health, said:
“It’s great to see so much home-grown talent in the exhibitions at the museum.
“As always there is plenty for families to enjoy and it’s all free.’’
The museum will be open on Saturday from 10:30am until 4:00pm.
It will then be closed until Friday, 3 January, when there will be a craft session between 10:30am and 3:00pm, where younger visitors will be able to make a Janus mask to celebrate January.
The museum will be open that day from 10:30am until to 3:45pm.
As with all the shows, admission is free, though donations are always welcomed, and there are also several temporary exhibitions to enjoy throughout the building.
