The Ramblers Christmas walk 2024

A Ramblers Wellbeing Walk will be taking place at Ensor’s Pool, Nuneaton, on Monday, 3 March, with everybody welcome.

The walk will start at Ensor’s Pool car park at 10:30am, and last for around one hour, in what should be a lovely time of year to see in the start of Spring.

With new resources, and an engaging and knowledgeable Walk Leader in Sue, it will be a relaxing morning out while enjoying some exercise made easy.

Walker Leader Sue has a wealth of information about Ensor’s Pool, its inhabitants, and the flora and fauna of the area. Sue loves to share this information as part of the interest walk.

Cllr Tim Jenkins, Portfolio Holder for Leisure, Communities and Health, said:

"Ensor's Pool Ramblers Wellbeing Walks are a great way to improve your both your heart and mental health in a wonderful little oasis just a few minutes from Nuneaton town centre.

“Ensor's Pool is also great for wildlife too and with Spring on its way, there will always be plenty to see on the walks.

“Best of all the walks are completely free of charge, all you have to do is turn up."

Those who take part in the walk will also be able to view a brand-new information board that has been installed around the pool.

There is no need to book to take part in the walk, simply turn up on the day ensuring you arrive at least five minutes before the start of the walk and away you go.

Those who do participate in the walks can also send in their photos of the day, and these could feature on Nuneaton and Bedworth Borough Council’s social media pages.

To submit your photos, or if you have any questions or would like further details, email walking@nuneatonandbedworth.gov.uk.
