
With Warwickshire County Council elections held on 1 May 2025, Nuneaton and Bedworth Borough Council is urging all eligible residents to register to vote and have their say on important local issues.
Polling cards will be posted out on Friday, 21 March. If you do not receive a poll card you might not be registered to vote. Polling cards will provide details of which polling station you can cast your vote at.
Registering is quick and easy, taking just five minutes to complete. The deadline to register is midnight on Friday, 11 April.
This year’s elections will determine the councillors who will represent local communities on key issues such as transport, social care, libraries, fire and rescue services, education, and public health.
Voters have a range of options for casting their ballot – in person, by post or by appointing someone they trust to vote in their place, known as a proxy vote.
If you are voting in person, remember to bring your photo ID. You can find out more about the accepted forms of photo ID.
Key Deadlines for voters:
• Register to vote by 11:59pm on Friday, 11 April
• Apply for postal vote by 5:00pm on Monday, 14 April
• Apply for proxy vote by 5:00pm on Wednesday, 23 April
• Apply for Voter Authority Certificate by 5:00pm on Wednesday, 23 April
