This year the Festival of Arts Art Exhibition is back at the Museum, with more than 500 pieces of art, this is the largest number of submissions ever filling the White and Yellow Galleries.
Visitors will be amazed by the number and quality of the work currently on display and includes work from children, young people and adults.
The Festival of Arts takes place each year in the borough and is organised by a team of volunteers.
It includes not only visual arts but also speech, drama and music.
Local artists have been hard at work creating the selections and subject matter includes portraits, landscapes, and animals.
With artworks often for sale at reasonable prices there’s also a chance visitors can take their favourite home and as with all shows, admission is free.
Also, currently on display is Take 3 is our craft show, featuring the work of three makers.
Claire Fell has brought her textile creations including pictures, brooches, necklaces and art dolls.
Jo Lovell's jewellery features Tibetan silver and unusual stones and John Freeman has brought his framed prints of local landmarks.
