Nuneaton Harriers Athletic Club in Nuneaton has benefited from a number of newly donated sports equipment items thanks to the partnership with RingGo as Pingles Leisure Centre’s new parking provider.
Last year, RingGo became the parking provider for Council-owned car parks across the borough, and this has now been extended to include the car park at Pingles Leisure Centre, which covers the Pingles Stadium where Nuneaton Harriers Athletic Club is based.
As part of the agreement and its ongoing commitment to the borough, RingGo has donated sports equipment to Nuneaton Harriers, including jump boxes, weighted workout balls, a long jump pit rake, and Nerf throwing footballs.
Cllr Tim Jenkins, Portfolio Holder for Leisure, Communities and Health, said:
“It’s brilliant that those who regularly use the Pingles Stadium and members of Nuneaton Harriers Athletic Club will benefit from the equipment provided by RingGo.
"Many residents in our borough enjoy participating in a range of different sports, and this provision of equipment should hopefully see plenty more people becoming involved in sport and staying active."
George Sheridan, Account Executive at RingGo, said:
“We are delighted to support the Nuneaton Harriers Athletic Club by providing this new sports equipment.
“At RingGo, we are committed to giving back to our communities and making cities more liveable.
“We hope this donation will help many athletes in Nuneaton train effectively and enjoy their sports activities even more.
“Supporting local sports initiatives aligns with our core values, and we are eager to witness the positive impact this equipment will have on the community.”
