A child enjoying riding around the Mountain Bike Trails in Bedworth

If you are a keen cyclist looking to hone your skills, or a parent looking for a fun-filled family day out during the holidays, look no further than Miners’ Mountain Bike Trails in Bedworth.

This completely free, British Cycling-approved family facility set in Bedworth’s Miners’ Welfare Park has something for everyone.

It offers a skills area and pump trail to enable riders to hone their technique, a trail for beginners and two trails of varying difficulty for more experienced riders.

There are also several walking tracks around the park for those who wish to enjoy the surroundings at a slightly slower pace.

Cllr Tim Jenkins, Portfolio holder for Leisure, Communities and Health, said:

“This fantastic facility offers opportunities for cyclists of all ages and abilities to come and enjoy a day out getting some exercise whilst having fun.

“The park itself not only offers exciting cycling resources, but it also has great tennis courts, walking tracks and beautiful scenery.

“I would urge everyone to go, not only to take part in the cycle facility, but to discover all of the other wonderful outdoor experiences that the park has to offer.”

We strongly encourage users to follow the guidance and ensure they have suitable experience before they tackle each trail. The hardest, (red) trail is suitable only for proficient mountain bikers with good off-road riding skills.
