Why do we need street naming and numbering
The address of a property is important for postal deliveries and the emergency services.
It ensures the emergency services can find a property quickly; mail is delivered efficiently; and provides reliable delivery locations for retail, online shopping and utility companies.
Nuneaton and Bedworth Borough Council has the legal responsibility for the creation of new addresses under the provision of The Public Health Act 1925, Sections 17-19 and the Towns Improvement Clauses Act 1847, Sections 64 and 65.
