Rent

It is important that your rent is paid to ensure you do not breach the terms of your tenancy.

Rent is charged in respect of:

  • Domestic properties
  • Garages
  • Mobile home pitches

Your obligations are:

  • to pay your rent and any other charges weekly in advance every Monday. The first payment is due on the date your tenancy begins. If you would like to pay by any frequency other than weekly, you must pay in advance.
  • It is a condition of the tenancy that any service charges or charges for support services for the property are paid as rent.

Rent is charged weekly every Monday, and it is your responsibility to ensure your full rent is paid each week, and that it is paid in advance., even if your rent is paid on your behalf by Housing Benefit, Universal Credit or someone else.

Should you fall into rent arrears, you risk losing your home.
