Nuneaton Museum & Art Gallery’s mission is to provide opportunities for learning, enjoyment and inspiration.

There are a number of ways that you can help the museum to keep delivering to the local community.  

You can:

  • Answer one of our appeals for information and objects to support our exhibition programme
  • Volunteer with the museum, new volunteering opportunities are advertised on our facebook pages
  • Donate to our collections
  • Donate to our fund

Your donations can help us achieve our ambitions by helping us to care for our shared history, create new exhibitions, tell stories that matter to you and provide fun learning activities for all ages.

Although we receive funding from Nuneaton and Bedworth Borough Council, we rely on the generous donations we receive from you each year to support our programming and to enable us to do that little bit more. Please donate if you enjoy what we do.

Your donations

  • Provided new display cases so we can show more items from the collection
  • Provided new shelving in our external store for our decorative arts collection
  • Helped us to buy artworks which compliment our existing collections

Currently we are collecting donations to support the refurbishment works needed at the museum.

Supporting the museum

There are many ways to become more involved with the work of the museum, from reading the museum blog to volunteering and responding to one of our appeals.

Why not work with the Museum collections and learn new skills to create your own exhibition in our Community Showcase.

 

Nuneaton Museum & Art Gallery has been a part of the local community for over 100 years.  Will you become a 'Friend' for the future?  

At present we provide:

Permanent and temporary exhibitions of local, national and international importance, events and activities for all ages and inspiration!

Now we need your help to:

  • make sure more people know about us and what we offer
  • help us care for our unique collections
  • help us offer more activities for local people
  • fundraise to improve our well-loved and well-used building

The Friends Group is just starting up and benefits will include private views of exhibitions and advance notice of events.
